HOFNER MODEL 4576 This was the new Model Verithin for 1967, in the European and USA markets.
With the 3cm deep "Verithin" body, but had Florentine cutaways instead of Venetian as on the 4574. This was the start of the blade pickups and enclosed tuners. These guitars also had a 3 way pup selector switch, and were only produced for three years between 1967 and 1970. |

1967 HOFNER MODEL 4576 An immaculate example, this time with four rotary control knobs, no pickup selector and also enclosed metal buttoned tuners. Bought new in 1968, the pot dates say 39/1965 and the pickup style suggests early 1967. Owned by Olaf since 1968 Germany.

A very special 4576, built in Spain from parts supplied by the Hofner factory. Some differences to the German 4576, the logo on the headstock doesnt have the inlaid flower motif, a Bigsby tremolo arm is fitted to the Hofner tremolo, and one of the switches appears to have been modified into a pickup selector switch Owned by Santiago Azipilcueta Spain
